Every time I pet-sit somewhere, I immediately find the nearest little pocket of nature. Melbourne habitat is so many different things to so many different people. As a shy hero, I recognise the beauty of a place that does not need to scream at you to be noticed but is quietly and unquestionably itself and proud to be. The whole day of the shoot was magical. A lot of us hadn’t met before and it was just so easy and comfortable straight away. As the day went on it all just felt so effortless. In the past shoots have made me feel a little out of place but this shoot was something so authentic and relaxed it was my favourite I’ve ever done. As soon as I put the clothes on I just felt good. It was such a hot sunny day and everything is linen and flowy and it was just perfect. The whole thing has been a pastel coloured, girl powered dream. Read more…

I felt like a total princess modelling the beautiful Shy Hero collection. The clothes I wore suited my feminine style and also allowed a freedom of movement that I loved. I felt like I could trample through grasses, let the ocean lick the bottom of the skirt and sit on rocks without being too delicate - these garments are certainly ready for adventures! Women’s bodies are incredible and deserve to feel this kind of freedom. Fuck wearing uncomfortable clothes that don’t suit your body - I want women to feel good in their own skin and find clothes that flatter their bodies and make them feel themselves. Read more…
